Brand identity for the leading investment bank in the Nordic & Baltic Sea region
Nordea Markets is the leading capital markets operator in the Nordic and Baltic region and part of Nordea — the largest bank in Northern Europe. With over 11 million customers and approximately 2,200 employees, Nordea Markets plays a key role in the financial landscape of the region.
In 2013, they selected Snask to help define the core of the Nordea Markets brand — working within the framework of the parent Nordea brand. The challenge? To transform the traditionally conservative image of an investment bank into something more contemporary, engaging, and yes — even a little sexier.
The new Nordea Markets brand looks, acts, and feels like a leading player— ambitious, humble, and personal. We helped the brand stand out both within the Nordea parent brand ecosystem and against external competitors, creating a voice that puts customers first while steering clear of typical corporate jargon.
Since our collaboration began in 2013, we've helped define the brand hierarchy, craft a compelling brand story, and develop key messaging for various target groups. We've also designed the brand’s graphic identity and produced branded materials across print, digital, event, and film formats.
As Nordea Markets’ dedicated agency partner, we continue to support the rollout and evolution of their brand direction across multiple channels and touchpoints.
