Magdalena Czarnecki is an AD/Designer from Stockholm, Sweden that are currently working as an Art Director at SNASK in Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2009 – 2010 Magdalena worked as an Art Director for United Colors of Benettonâ€™s legendary COLORS Magazine, in Treviso, Italy.
After that, when moving back home to Stockholm after some years abroad, she freelanced and worked for Stockholm-based design studios such as Henrik Nygren Design, Â Acne Art Dept / Acne Advertising, Planeta Design and Essen International.
In may 2009, Magdalena won the award newStar, at the International Design Conference agIdeas in Melbourne, Australia. The award took her
to Fabrica, Benettonâ€™s Communication Research Center, where young designers are encouraged to explore and expand their creative grounds.
At Fabrica, Magdalena have since receiving the scholarship, been working with social awareness campaigns for organizations such as UNESCO, design proposals for Venice Olympics 2020 and art directed the three latest issues of COLORS Magazine, NÂ° 77 / The Sea, Â NÂ° 78 / Dance and
NÂ° 79 / Collector.
Before moving to Italy, Magdalena was based in Sydney, Australia for three years. She received her Bachelor in Communication Design at Billy Blue College of Design and Swinburne University. After graduating Magdalena worked as a freelancing designer in studios and for clients such as: ResterĂ¶ds, Moon Communications Group, Naughtyfish Design, GQ Magazine, Havaianas and The Cool Hunter.
